my Angel

She is an angel,

She doesn’t know this.

Neither people let her feel so,

nor they will show it.

Her tiny hands ,soft little toes

Full with mud and sand.

She doesnt meet what she deserves

 at the day’s end.

She is one of the God’s God

What my friend said once.

Why her prayers never ever heard

Why all came back bounce.

She lives in a dirty narrow street,

looks at me moving around.

She dosnt know hw much I love,

But my eyes make that sound.

She is a darling!!!

Mom left her to wonder here and there

They are compelled to do this

so that cud meet daily care.

Her chubby cheeks,

stained with dust and dirt.

I cud see many eagle eyes

To take wings around to flirt.

Alas!!why God sent u here

Leaving alone to face this world

U can just lisping now

Those eagles‘ll  bury ur voice Oh!! Lord…..

I want to touch you, accept u but how??

tell my sweetheart…..

your love ones have nothing but u as their lives part

U r their sunshine, moonbeams and more.

U make their world no one did it before.

with luv

a poem that inspired

Nani Palkhiwala’s philosophy of life

When I die,

Give my sight to a man who has never seen a sunrise.

Give my heart to one who has known the agony of the heart

Give my blood to a youth pulled from the wreckage of a car

So he might live to see his grandchildren play…………..

Let my kidneys drain the poison from another body

Let my bones be used to make a crippled child walk.

Burn what is left of me  and scatter the ashes to the wind to let the flowers grow.

If u must bury something ,let is be my fault and my prejudices against my fellowmen.

Give my soul to God.

If u wish to remember me ,do it with a kind deed

Or word to some one who needs you.

Say  NO to

plastic bags

Did u knw tht an average Indian consumes 1 kg of plastic every year  while the annual world average is only 18kg.????

Go to the market place ..office,,school..home every whr v use plastic bags….but wht happens to these plastic bags??

It is here whr the  hazards associated  with thm come into play…

Hazards on land-according to researches plastic degenerates slowly ,all plastic sooner or later break  down into smaller pieces leaving behind plastic chunks or plastic dust as residue. These chunks  r nt biodegradable as their molecular structure is too large for micro organism to swallow. This characteristics of plastic causes serious environmental and health problems .

Everyday we disposes of 10 million plastic bags cause blockage of the drainage and sewage system of the city resulting in waterlogging ,germination of becteria which cause water borne disease…plastic  being non-degradable  also reduces the rate of rain water percolation ,resulting in lowering of already low water level in our cities. the plastic bags tht lie on the soil fr long stop the passage of oxygen, there by deteriorating the soil fertility and whn it burns it produces noxious fumes such as hydrogen cynide and other poisnous gaes.

Hazards in the coastal area-it might take ur breath away but true , more thn 100,000 whales seals, turtles and birds die evry year as result of congestion caused plastic bags.

Solution-

-Finding alternative suitable  material which has no adverse effect.

-Educating users on the right disposal methods.

-Encouraging the use of reusable bags made of traditional material     with the help of advertisement..

Taking the ground realities into consideration it is now solely up to u to say “yes” or “no” to plastic bags.

The other faces of

H a pp i n e ss

We  often ask  this question and been asked by others too   and we all stuck for a reply..

I thought about it yes.. I am reasonably happy .but I cud be happier .who cudnt? I cud do with more money, more time, less stress, less agitation. i wud like to be cooler whn its hot and hotter when its cold .I wud like to be taller slimmer, younger but I also remember that when I was in my teen ,yes i ws  slimmer and taller but I wanted to be shorter, well rounded and yes I wanted to be an adult in the next five mints.I cant get  no satisfaction and I know I m nt alone. enough evidences r thr… psychologists says  tht happiness is frequent but fleeting emotion and that much of it  depends on hw u bat those googlies that life throws at u constantly

.it also depends on how open u r to the idea of receiving happiness.

I knw people who have all the ingredient of happiness lined up in their lives but can make a career out of being unhappy. thy whine, thy crap and forever in search of the greener blade of grass thy can never seem to find .on the other hand there are people who take happiness where thy find it ..about the later thr r  many incident engraved in our life.. ..actually need to search memories and  enjoy it.

I Hope this catches U the way it caught me!

it's intended to get you thinking.

A prominent American was interviewed on the Early Show and the interviewer asked them,

"How could God let something like this happen?" (Regarding the attacks on September 11)

They gave an extremely profound and insightful response.

(edited to encompass all religions and  general tenets of personal behaviour)

"I believe any God would be deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been taking the basic teachings out of our schools, out of our government and out of our lives. And by doing so have forced those basic rules of life out of our lives. How can we expect anyone to respect anyone else if they don’t know why they should do so?”

In light of recent events...terrorists attack, school shootings, etc, I think it started

Whn some ppl said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might
damage their self-esteem . We said an expert should know what he's talking about.

And we said OK.

Then some of our top elected officials said it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs. Agreeing with them, we said it doesn't
matter to me what anyone, including the President, does in private as long as I have a job and the economy is good.

Then someone said let's print magazines with pictures of nude women and call it wholesome, down-to-earth appreciation for the beauty of the female body.

And we said OK.

And then someone else took that appreciation a step further and published pictures of nude children and then further again by making them available on the Internet. And we said OK, they're entitled to free speech.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to killstrangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out!I think it has a great deal to do with

"WE REAP WHAT WE SOW."

Funny how simple it is for people to trash age old teachings whether they be based on a Godhead or not and then wonder why the world has become so unsafe, unstable and seemingly out of control. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what our religious teachers of all faiths have taught us for centuries.Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding religion, peoplethink twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of religious beliefs is suppressed in schools and the work place.

We dnt think about all but discard ... later just sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in……..

happy navratra to all of u

This celebration in honour of the goddess, the      mother of the world, begins on the first day of      Ashvin, and goes on for nine days. The goddess is the personification of Power, or ?Shakti?. She is known by many names: ?Kali?, ?Laxmi?, ?         Sarasvati?, ?Chandi-ka?, ?Durga?, ?Bhavani?, ?Ambika?, ?Ashtabhuja? (eight hands). Her main task is to punish the wicked. She is engaged in war, and weapons are in her hands (four, eight, eighteen...) She is sitting on a lion. Her weapons are the ?shul? (pike), ?chakra? (wheel), ?parshu? (axe) and ?talvar? (sword). Kali is known as ?Mahisha-surmardini?, the slayer of the demon Mahishasur. The fight against the demon begins on the first day until he is defeated on the ninth day.

Homosexuality

                        why people turn out homosexual?

Sexuality is not an either/or thing. In other words, people aren't simply heterosexual or homosexual. They lie on a spectrum between two poles v consider it as extrmly homosexual and extrmly heterosexual..and BTW lies the rest… which depend on the mode of socialization …their society allow or does not allow it.  through the socialisation process as they grow up thy adopt  tht heterosexual end in terms of attitudes and behaviour .

Is homosexuality genetic??

Scientific attempts to prove that homosexual attraction is biologically determined have failed. Thy try  to link male homosexuality(  DNA located at the tip of the X chromosome is another story……..) Homosexuality is not purely genetic… There is not a single master gene that makes people gay.

We learn everything through experiences??

for example  baby was a male. Then say from its parents / guardians it gets most of its love from the Dad of the family. The child has a real close and intimate relationship with his Dad. Still maybe getting love from his Mom figure but in this case most love comming from Dad. In these early stages in our life we make choices about who we love. The people that mean the most to us in life and maybe not consciously but subconsciously make a choice about which sex we are attracted.  When mothers breast feed there children whether it be a male or female baby, they get close and sexualy intimate with there mothers. Some babies get closer than that depending on how the mother displays herself. This intimacy may spark a sexual attractivness to female's. Inadvertently making the male baby sexual attracted to females and manifesting itself inside the female baby making an attraction to other females.

But thr is smthing  about the gays bodies which means they were born with it. The body is made to adapt it?? Is these differences in the homosexuals bodies not just the body trying to adapt to suit homo peoples mind set for attraction to the same sex? Confused ?? ya me too..jst like tht I hv  loads of questions ,confusions…hope u all guys ‘ll help me to  Sort out it

At last I wud like to say a few words v all knw  the human race must  began from heterosexual reproduction of at least two humans a male and a female. This heterosexual reproduction which has gone  through the ages is the reason the human race has not gone extinct . Is it so  v r finding these changes in our sexual behaviour  to balance the nature…….coz our population is good enough in this earth tht v r nt going to be an extinct species….
